Netbook with Karmic Koala
Got my HP mini 5101 around Xmas and wanted to have it dual boot. Decided to have Win7 on it and Ubuntu. While installing Ubuntu nearly everything works out of the box, there was just this tiny little problem with my Broadcom card.
lspci showed me that it was a Broadcom Corporation Device 4353. So electrically everything was working but there were no drivers loaded. After googling a bit around I found out that you have to use the Package Manager (System-->Administration-->Synaptic Package Manager and search for broadcom). There I loaded the broadcom wl sources package. After this I rebooted and went to System--> Administration --> Hardware Drivers where I was shown that the driver (STA driver fro broadcom) was now properly loaded and everything works now perfectly.
